We were delighted with our students’ GCSE results this year. The proportion of students with A*-C in English and Maths was 66%, up from 63% last year, and the year group’s Progress 8 score was positive (the provisional score is 0.12, though this does not include some results so we expect it to rise slightly). The attainment 8 score was 52.2 and the proportion of students achieving the English Baccalaureate was 20%.

Aron Whiles, headteacher, said: “We are very proud of our Year 11 cohort this year and their achievements in this summer’s GCSE examinations. Our 2016 GCSE results see a further improvement on our strong 2015 results. Broadland High School continues to provide a very good education for its students and the local community it serves. Everyone associated with the school would like to congratulate our out-going Year 11 students on their GCSE results and wish them every success in their future endeavours.”
