Broadland High School strongly believes in the value of homework as a positive tool to support and enhance effective teaching and learning and the achievement of our students. It also believes in the use of homework to help develop important life skills.
Homework is work that is done outside of the timetabled curriculum. However, not all homework has to be completed at home; for some students it may be more necessary or desirable to complete the tasks at school, due to the more readily available resources such as ICT equipment and software, or the library. A Study Club is available Monday to Wednesday after school for this purpose.
The homework policy available here gives more detail about the homework expectations at Broadland.
All current homework is now shared with students and parents online. You can access the Google sheet here. If you need to know your child’s teaching groups, these are shown on their timetable (which is available online through Progresso).
